19. Dark Times
After sharing a meal with his hosts, Tyler can rest in their barn. Exhausted from his journey from Olkland, he quickly falls asleep. He is eager to reach Lienwood, where he hopes to reunite with his brother.
He dreams again of the events that took place on the Mantra island. Once more, he sees himself falling into a sort of bottomless pit.
A distant male voice seems to be addressing him. Its words are incomprehensible, probably a language he doesn't understand. Except for one last sentence:
"Lostblood, come to me."
Suddenly, an intense red light accompanied by an almost unbearable heat filled his surroundings. Tyler is blinded and screams.
Then nothing more. Complete darkness. Tyler continues his night.
