18. Flatwaters
Flatwaters is the most populous city in the Northern Lakes region of Takkanor. It is a peaceful city, the ideal stop for Tyler to get some rest before starting the crossing of the Raydown Forest, which will lead him to the Moonlit Peaks mountain range, his final destination.
Tyler allows himself a few moments of daydreaming by the lake before setting out in search of accommodation for the night.
A couple of peasants, living on the outskirts of the city, meet Tyler while he is lost in thought by the lake. The young man tells them his story and his journey to return to Lienwood. They offer to host him for the night before he continues on his way.
