Bargus Woods

Located in the heart of the Republic of Takkanor, the Bargus Woods region forms a vast and mysterious forest expanse south of Moonlit peaks. It serves as a natural border between the lake region, where Flatwaters is located to the west, and the eastern lands bordered by the sea to the east.

A vast portion of the region, within the dense and rugged forests to the north, is sparsely populated or entirely uninhabited. This area is the subject of many legends—often dismissed as mere superstition in the great cities, yet treated with much more caution in rural territories. These tales speak of hostile creatures that prove fatal to any imprudent traveler: undead, bloodsuckers, and cannibals have fueled terrifying stories for centuries.
